Phone rental questions, answered plainly.
Everything you need to know about renting a real US phone: how remote access works, which plans we offer, what you can use it for and how to reach support.
The service
RentPhoneUSA rents real, physical smartphones located in the United States. Each one has a genuine US carrier SIM, and you control it remotely through a secure web dashboard from anywhere in the world.
We mainly serve:
- International users needing a US phone number for personal or business purposes.
- Social media marketers managing multiple US-based accounts.
- Individuals requiring SMS verification for various online services and apps.
- Professionals who need a genuine US device to access banking and payment apps for legitimate business or personal use.
- Businesses establishing a virtual US presence for operations or customer support.
We offer Android phones with a physical SIM, eSIM Android phones and Android phones without a SIM (phone only), all billed monthly.
RentPhoneUSA stands out for several key reasons:
- Genuine devices: Real Android phones and iPhones, not virtual numbers or emulators.
- Real US SIM: SIMs from T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon on their live networks.
- Full app compatibility: Our real devices run banking and payment apps natively. Virtual solutions often trigger security screens; our hardware provides the genuine environment these apps expect.
- Instant remote control: Gain access to your US phone quickly, with no complex setup required.
- No contracts: Our plans are month-to-month, offering flexibility without long-term commitments.
- 24/7 dedicated customer support: Our team is available around the clock to assist you with any questions or technical issues.
Access & apps
Once you choose a plan, you log in to our secure web dashboard from any computer or phone and control your rented device in real time: the full screen, its apps and its settings.
We guarantee 24/7 uptime. Because every device is a real phone with a carrier SIM, banking and fintech apps work normally.
Absolutely. This is one of the core strengths of RentPhoneUSA. Since you receive a genuine US phone number with a real SIM connection, you can reliably:
- Send and receive SMS messages for personal communication or official notifications.
- Perform SMS verification for signing up or logging into various online services, social media platforms, and websites.
- Access and operate banking apps, payment apps, and other fintech services that require genuine device hardware; our real phones provide native compatibility for legitimate use.
- Use other US-specific applications like Google Voice, WhatsApp and Telegram as if you were physically in the USA.
Plans & billing
We offer three monthly plans:
- Android Phone, No SIM ($60/month): A physical Android device without a SIM card, connected over Wi-Fi, with a 24/7 uptime guarantee and access through the secure web dashboard.
- Android Phone ($130/month): A physical SIM Android device on AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile with a 24/7 uptime guarantee and access through the secure web dashboard. A good fit for general remote phone use, app verification and social media management.
- eSIM Android ($150/month): A real eSIM device (no VoIP) with a 24/7 uptime guarantee, an eSIM installation guide and access through the secure web dashboard.
All plans are billed monthly.
Yes, if your plan includes a SIM card. Android Phone and eSIM Android rentals require identity verification (KYC) before the SIM is activated. You upload a government-issued photo ID and take a selfie, which includes a facial biometric check.
The phone-only Android plan without a SIM card does not require KYC. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, protect and delete verification and biometric data.
Support
No, there are no long-term contracts involved with any of our plans. All services are billed on a convenient monthly basis. We pride ourselves on transparent pricing, so the monthly fee you see is what you pay, with no hidden fees or unexpected charges.
Furthermore, there are no geographical restrictions for renting our service. You can access and control your rented US smartphone from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection.
